01 First report
Not ready for a subscription?
Start with one client audit before you commit to monthly volume. The first report is a pilot path, not an auto-renewing subscription.

Send one anonymized client export, review the branded PDF, correction CSV, and assumptions log, then decide whether the client or your firm has repeat monitoring demand.
Before you ask a client for files, use the export guides for Square, 7shifts, Deputy, and Toast to scope the right timecard report.

03 The economics
What you charge sits well above what you pay
Firms running break audits as a service typically bill per report, then convert clients into monthly before-payroll-close monitoring retainers only when the client asks for repeat review.
You own the client relationship, scope, and pricing. BreakAuditor charges your firm lower pilot or subscription pricing and supplies the branded report, correction CSV, and assumptions log; a practical starting range is $500-$1,500 per scoped client audit.
How consultants price it
$500-$1,500 / AUDIT
- BreakAuditor charges lower pilot or subscription pricing to your firm
- You set the client-facing audit fee and own the relationship
- Monthly monitoring becomes recurring revenue after repeat demand

05 Pricing FAQ
Questions about plans and billing
What counts as one audit?
One audit is one report run for one client’s timecard data over a chosen period. Re-running the same client’s data after a correction does not burn a second audit during a normal review cycle.
Can I start with a one-off audit instead of a subscription?
Yes. One-off audits are $49-$99 per report with no subscription and no auto-renew. Most firms move to a monthly plan only after repeat client demand makes recurring review useful.
What happens if I go over my monthly audit count?
We will not silently cut you off mid-month. If you are regularly exceeding your plan, the next tier is usually the cheaper path, and we will flag that during your pilot rather than surprise-bill you.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are month to month during the pilot. There is no long-term contract to start.
Do my clients see BreakAuditor?
No. Reports carry your firm name and brand color on the cover and throughout. Your clients see your firm, not ours. You own the client relationship, scope, and pricing.
Is this legal advice, and does the price include it?
No. BreakAuditor provides operational audit support based on the data you import. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Findings should be reviewed with payroll, HR, or employment counsel before action is taken.
